Watermain and Drainage Works Clonakilty
B & M O’Brien Brothers were contracted to carry out the full installation of watermain and drainage infrastructure to serve a new development in Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
Works included the excavation and laying of HDPE blue watermain pipe, with all joints electrofusion-welded on-site to ensure a pressure-rated, leak-free system meeting Irish Water specifications. The drainage network was installed in parallel, with trenches carefully graded and bedded to achieve correct falls throughout.
Our experienced crew managed all groundworks from initial strip and excavation through to pipe installation, backfilling, and reinstatement, coordinating closely with the main contractor to keep the project on programme.
The project highlights our capability to deliver technically demanding utility infrastructure works to the high standards required for adoption by Irish Water.
